About Teresa

Greetings! My name is Teresa Cuevas and I have over 16 years experience in teaching. I began my teaching career as a dance educator, and developed an interest in general and special needs education. I have worked with clients of all ages, and all different abilities. I am trained in the Orton Gillingham Reading Program, as well as Sterns Math. For my younger clients, I incorporate tactile activities within my lessons. Depending on the subject at hand, I blend games, cooking, weaving, dance or acting within my lessons. I enjoy being creative with my clients, and I look forward to our sessions together!
