Hello,
My name is Demetra and I would welcome the opportunity to help you with your math studies. Since 1997 I have been working in a high school Mathematics classroom as a teaching assistant. In 2005, I went back to school and dual majored in Mathematics and Psychology and earned my degree in 2010.
My primary responsibility at school is to work with struggling students in small groups or tutor them one to one. I also do intensive preparation for the Common Core Algebra I Regents.
Outside of school I tutor students in various math courses mostly Pre-Algebra And Algebra I. I also work with college students taking introductory math classes. Additionally I have tutored people seeking to pass the GED. I’m very patient, I realize math is difficult for some people especially with the more challenging curriculum.
