My name is Robert and I'm currently a Researcher in International Economics at the Council on Foreign Relations in Manhattan. I'm a UC Berkeley honors graduate with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, including a specialization in International Affairs, Urban Studies, and Economics. I'm still very much immersed in the daily rigors of critical thinking and analytical writing, where I enjoy exploring the creative opportunities that are afforded by an academic setting. I take a great deal of pride in helping others achieve their goals, having previously mentored and tutored students of all age ranges, both inside and outside of the classroom.
I believe in a holistic, well-rounded approach to academics, where the journey and the destination are equally prioritized in order to create effective habits and a healthy relationship between a student and her/his work. My expertise lies in the humanities, where I've had a thoroughly enjoyable experience tutoring high school and college English, US History, European History, Political Science, and Comparative Literature. I really enjoy getting to know every student, and I have a deep appreciation for the various styles of learning that are unique to each individual. I'm very much looking forward to meeting prospective students, and I can't wait to help you realize your goals!
My hours are flexible in the afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. I can travel to you, or we can choose any location that best fits your needs.
