I graduated in 2016 from Wesleyan University with a degree in French Studies as well as completion of the pre-med curriculum (mostly science and math). Throughout my time both in high school and at Wesleyan, I tutored students in varying subjects from math to music. This past year, I taught English to middle school and high school students full time on the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean, where I also continued to give private tutoring lessons. I have a strong academic background in subjects in the humanities and sciences. I have experience tutoring students with various learning methods, and recognize the importance of adjusting my teaching to fit each individual student's needs. I love to make my sessions fun and interesting! My lessons are as dynamic as I can make them through changing activities and material often, depending on the subject.
I have lived all over the world after growing up in New Mexico and on Maui, and am very excited to now call NYC home! My non-academic interests include running, surfing and music.
