I've had 6 years of tutoring and teaching experience, where I've worked with students between the ages of 5th grade and 12th grade in subjects including mathematics, biology, English, and chemistry. This teaching experience includes one-on-one interactions, as well as classroom-style settings. For my classroom style teaching, I've had a lot of experience both creating and implementing an after school teaching curriculum and keeping my students happy and engaged throughout lectures. For this, I taught an AP Biology curriculum to high school students after school. I've always had a focus and appreciation for education and learning. Without a strong foundation in the sciences, in English, and especially in mathematics, I would not have been exposed to the opportunities I have today. I find learning to be exciting, and know that not everyone starts out with the same experiences. I want to help students not only achieve their goals, but to find an appreciation for their new knowledge.
