I am a firm believer that learning should fun and enjoyable! I always relate my lessons back to real-world situations, because let's be real- we want to be successful in the real world, not just in the classroom. As a student, I always asked, "why do I need to know this?", so as an adult, I love answering this question for my students!

I am a former middle school ELA teacher and currently work as a Professional Development Specialist in NYC, helping teachers reach struggling students through technology. I absolutely love my job and have a burning passion for helping students "make it click".

I am a sucker for YA literature; my favorite books include: The Fault in Our Stars, The Great Gatsby, Lord of the Flies & The Divergent Series.

My favorite shows include: The Walking Dead (yes, I cried when Glenn died), Game of Thrones, This is Us & Nashville.
