I have over four years of combined teaching and tutoring experience. I speak four languages and have taught in several different countries (Germany, Spain, and the Federated States of Micronesia) through both the Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship (Germany) and the Peace Corps (FSM). My main strengths are with language and linguistics (English, German, and Spanish), but I also have taught Math, Science, and other subjects at the middle school level. While I am not a NH certified teacher, I underwent intensive three-month TEFL and Model School teaching courses during my Peace Corps training followed by two years as both co-teacher and head classroom teacher at a small school in a remote Pacific Island community.
