I taught high school for four years and college for one year. Subjects covered were Statistics, AP Calculus, Algebra, Calculus, Trigonometry, Economics, and SAT prep. Because my background is so broad, I substituted for Chemistry and Physics as well. On a part time basis, I helped college students in Statistics, College Algebra, Science Projects, and GMAT/GRE prep.
A very important aspect of teaching that is often overlooked is the ability to kindle a student's interest in a subject. Using this fact as my trump card, I have managed to keep students for many years. I have come to realize that tutoring becomes so easy if the student enjoys what is being taught.
I also have all kinds of diagnostics tests that help me to gauge a students true standard, weaknesses, and strengths. Results from these tests save time and for that matter, cost of tutoring on the student's part.
I have a BSc. Math, MSc. Finance, Actuarial professional exams P, FM, MFE, C and all VEE course credits.
I am currently working full time in a Health Actuarial Analyst role on a consulting track.
