I graduated first in my class from the College of Wooster, majoring in History and Philosophy. I was elected a member of Phi Beta Kappa. I was an analyst for the United States Department of State at the Bureau of Intelligence and Research, Office of Analysis of he Soviet Union, Soviet Foreign Political Division. I graduated second in my class from Vanderbilt University School of Law where I was the Editor of the "Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law". I clerked for The Honorable Frederick B. Lacy, United States Court for the District of New Jersey. Subsequently, I clerked for the United States Emergency Court of Appeals in Washington, D.C. Thereafter, I clerked for the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in Washington, D.C. After my federal clerkships, I became and associate and thereafter a member of New Jersey's largest litigation firm, Shanley and Fisher, (now known as Biddle Drinker and Reath), and subsequent I became a senior member of a 177-member law firm in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Norris McLaughlin and Marcus. I have 32 years of experience as a commercial litigator having represented dozens of Fortune 500 Companies.
I am skilled in English Literature, creative and essay writing, History and Art History. As to the law, I am particularly well-suited for Civil Procedure, Legal Writing, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Torts and Real Estate. I am a published author, "How to Hook a Shyster", which is available at Amazon.com.
