15 years ago, I began my career as an educator. After obtaining my BA in Literature from UC Santa Cruz, I got my start in teaching ESL. I worked as a literacy tutor for the Learning Assistance Center at San Francisco State University, and went on teach College English and Academic Writing at the university level for several years. I am fluent in Spanish and have also taught Spanish. I've worked in course design and curriculum development as well. I love helping students learn!
