Hi! I'm a writer with a passion for tutoring and teaching! My long term goal is to become a college English Professor. I am currently attending Hamline University in St. Paul, MN so that I may receive my BFA in Creative Writing. I received my AFA in Creative Writing from Normandale Community College in Bloomington, MN, where I also worked as a Writing Center Tutor for two years. While working as a WC tutor, I was able to meet one on one with a diverse population of students, many of whom were EL learners. My tutoring skills are vast in their range; I have worked on everything from fundamental grammar assistance to broad scope brainstorming for a variety of writing assignments. My goal as a tutor was to help the students that I met with, not only to help them improve on their assignments, but to improve as overall students. I am comfortable working with students of any age and skill level.
