About Virginia

Hi! My name is Virginia and I am looking forward to working with you on your child's growth in math, science or the visual arts. I am an engineer by training but teaching the subjects I love is my true passion! I have two children of my own, and I have worked in a Children's Hospital for three years, so tailoring my conceptual language and my teaching approach to any age is a skill I have worked hard to develop. I believe that people of all ages can be helped to understand, and that with understanding comes a chance to see the beauty of math, science, and the visual arts!
