About Eve

Hi there! I'm Eve, and I tutor students in elementary, middle, and high school math subjects. In addition, I support students as they develop writing skills, whether creative or school/research based.

Here's a little about my tutoring experience:

Since 2015, I have been an independent private tutor and also a tutor for a major national tutoring company. I have extensive experience working with students on online tutoring platforms.

Throughout the past four years, I have worked one-on-one with 30+ students of all ages. Some of my students aim to get caught up in a math class, and others are eager to get ahead. All are motivated to reach their highest potential. Many of my students work with me long-term as our tutoring leads to more and more improvement.

My tutoring style is based on helping students to think independently and freely. I encourage my students to take intellectual risks in their learning. It is important to me to show my students that I consider them to be my peers. In this way, I build relationships with students that make them feel comfortable and excited to explore new knowledge.

Overall, I work hard to create an enjoyable and engaging tutoring experience that encourages students to be curious, confident, and enthusiastic about learning.
