Hello - my name is Katie, and I currently earning my doctorate in African history at MSU. I have 3 years of teaching experience at the university level and currently work at the university's Writing Center as a consultant. I have experience tutoring undergraduates and K-12. I was employed as a behavior interventionist for 1+ years and worked with students with a variety of developmental and behavioral needs. I am equipped to tutor GRE content, writing and vocabulary, history, and various other skills in the humanities. I can instruct students in multiple citation styles: i.e. Chicago, MLA, and APA. I am also an Advanced Kiswahili speaker and can tutor students at the beginner and intermediate level.
