Math teacher with 23 years experience teaching everything from pre-algebra to calculus. I am currently teaching and know the subject, a variety of ways to teach it and most importantly, what a math teacher is looking for.

Teaching is my passion, I am a leader in my school districts implementation of common core state standards, I have the experience as well as the depth of knowledge to ensure that your child understands how to look at the mathematics as a problem solving tool and to focus on the aspects of the math that teachers, our state and the SAT and ACT expect a student to know.

I focus on finding out a student's learning style, then using the best method for that student's style so that they get the maximum benefit from our time together. this may involve the use of, manipulatives, dynamic graphing software, listening and beat exercises, and examples in the dance of the functions. there hundreds of tricks that a seasoned teacher has to get a point across, I have 23 years worth of them and would love to use them to get your child to understand mathematics.
