Qualifications & Experience

Hi, my name is (Mr.) Ben Gross, and I am a high school English teacher who has been teaching for 13 years in a variety of schools from public to charter to magnet schools. While I enjoy leading class discussions about books, what I really love is working with students one-on-one to provide them focused support and help them achieve the success they are working towards.

I have taught AP Lit, AP Lang, SAT Prep, as well as a quite wide variety of English classes over my career, and am amply prepared to help you however you may need it. I am particularly successful at helping students construct and draft essays, and I have had quite strong success helping students with their college essays and applications in general, often allowing students to gain admission into their reach schools. I look forward to helping you, whether it is with a paper, college essay, or anything else that you are seeking assistance with.
