Hi! My name is Minori. I am originally from Tochigi prefecture in Japan, and I am currently a PhD student in Education. I would be happy to help you learn Japanese. Here is some of my teaching experience.
I have:
- Ten years of experience teaching and tutoring Japanese both in Japan and in America
- Taught all ages (young children and adults) and levels (elementary to advanced)
- Tutored students (especially high school and college students) and prepared business people to work overseas.

Minori was so kind to me! She was very patient and understanding. This is my first lesson with her, but I hope that we see much more of her. She takes things as slowly as necessary and creates study material based on your skills. I highly recommend her as your first choice!

I just had my first lesson with Minori....she was amazing! I studied Japanese for several years, but have taken about two years off and have forgotten quite a lot and lost confidence in my ability. Minori was very patient with me and helped me gain my confidence back over the course of our lesson. She encouraged me along the way and helped me to remember why I love studying Japanese! I loved her teaching style and felt that she listened to my goals and came up with a plan that is realistic and obtainable. I am looking forward to having more lessons with her.
