Throughout my 25 years plus nursing & teaching career, I have held many roles including staff nurse, preceptor, mentor, trauma nurse, emergency department nurse educator, trauma performance improvement nurse, trauma nurse consultant, charge nurse and resource nurse. I have gained a multitude of experience teaching both formally and informally. My work & research has been published nationally several times in the Journal of Emergency Nursing. I am cross trained in forensic science, with a specialization in investigation. I am trained in ballistics, kinematics and forensic homicide investigation.
Currently, I am 1/2 way through my Doctor of Nursing Practice program, writing a book, blogging, & have begun a new chapter in my career as a nurse entrepreneur. I've developed an active social media presence on IG with over 8K followers. I am offering consulting services, coaching and mentoring to medical professionals.
