About Carl

I have a B.A. in History from Columbia University, and I spent ten years tutoring the SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, and AP exams in New York.
In preparing a student for the SAT or the ACT, I can carefully diagnose "problem areas" in a student's understanding of the material, and I start by reinforcing those specific topics.
From there, the whole test is a game of strategy. Each section is made up of a variety of question types. I teach the student 1) a dependable process for each question type, and 2) how to determine which type of question they are solving. With your hard work and practice, I can help you attain your elite standardized test goals!
My students average .3 points improved per hour in ACT Composite score and 8.5 points improved per hour in SAT Final score.
In addition to my standardized test experience, I have taught math at both the high school and college level. I am well-versed and well-experienced in all levels of academic math, and I am happy to help with concept review, AP exams, etc.
I recommend Online sessions
