ABOUT THE TUTOR:
Bonjour! My name is Sandra. I have a love of learning and of learners, with a passion for teaching and engaging with students. I am a certified teacher from Chicago with a Bachelors Degree with a dual certification in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. My teaching experiences ranges from Pre-K to Eight Grade. I also have a Master of Arts Degree in Education Administration and Supervision. I am an avid reader with a knack for creative writing, which lead me to become a District-Wide Literacy Coach, after receiving a Middle School Reading Endorsement from Concordia University-Chicago.
MY STYLE:
I am a firm believer that the journey of learning never ends. Creating a warm and friendly environment is essential. I tailor my learning plans according to each individual. Many of my students have done extremely well on state standardized test, as well as improve their grades in core subjects. Everything we do is interactive and will require both of our attention. This type of engagement will allow me to be attentive to your learning needs.
