I am a Chicago-based resident with more than 30 years of teaching experience in higher education. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Communication from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a TESOL Post-Graduate Certification from Northwestern State University in Louisiana. My goal as a communication training professional is to help the learner transform his or her life through meaningful study. I am passionate about education, and it shows through my teaching.
As a retired college professor, I currently work independently as a trainer--providing group (or one-on-one) presentations, workshops, and educational sessions in specialized areas of communication that include (but is not limited to) English Composition, ESL, Writing for the Professions (Business Communication), Public Speaking, and Basic/Intermediate Parliamentary Procedures using Roberts Rules of Order, 11th edition.
I look forward to the opportunity of working as your tutor.
