I have tutored students of all ages from elementary to adults seeking their GED. I have 7+ years of experience tutoring in Science and Math as well as English, Literature, and Social studies/History. Because my background is in Science and Math, most of my tutoring experience is in one of these subjects. My most recent tutoring experiences included students who were having difficulty focusing and completing assignments as well as students who were struggling with advanced high school courses.
My passion for tutoring stems from my desire to see students succeed and my own personal experiences with my tutors while in high school and college.
I have found most students benefit from individual attention and hands on experience. The best form of instruction I have found is through hands on modeling. Whether it is English, Math, or Science the best teaching tool is one that allows practical application. By using this model, the students I have tutored were able to meet both their tutoring
and academic goals. My overall tutoring goal is to help each student achieve academic success.
