About Nicole

I graduated magna cum laude from Springfield College with BS in Human Services. At the time of my graduation I'd already been working part-time in the field of early childhood education for 9 years. Although I love the field of human services, it is the field of education and working with students that has always drawn me in. As of today, I have been in the field of education for over 20 years. I have worked for, managed and owned and operated a child care facility. I have worked with and tutored at risk youth, and I have taught middle school reading and language arts. My most recent position enabled me to put my current ESE K-12 teacher's certificate to use as a varying exceptionalities/inclusion teacher for grades 6-8 language arts classes with ESE and regular education students. I have worked one-on-one, as well as, in small groups of 5-8 students.

My tutoring lessons are designed according to the student's needs. These lessons can be completed one-on-one or in small group settings. My lessons are flexible in that they can be modified to accommodate individual needs and any feedback from students and parents. Please feel free to contact me as needed, and you can be assured of a swift response.
