My specialty is teaching young children to read. I currently teach first grade for the Hillsborough County School District. My other specialty is Mathmatics grades K-8. I taught Third grade common core Math from 2015-2017. I know how to prepare students to pass the FSA and be successful in the common core. I also taught middle school mathmatics and science for many years. What I find most rewarding about tutoring is seeing fast results because of the one on one intense attention and accountability. Watching a person's confidence and success level change with each session. I feel tutoring is temporary intense instruction meant to last only a couple of months so that a student can be successful in the regular core classroom.
