I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Master’s in Creative Writing from Florida Atlantic University with eight years experience that encompasses teaching Freshman Composition at FAU, tutoring SAT and ACT test prep for high schoolers, helping develop and edit college entrance essays, and tutoring general reading, writing, and grammar skills across the K-12 spectrum. I’ve worked with students in small groups, individually, and as a class, and also have experience with special-needs learners.
English is my passion, and I understand that tricky things like reading comprehension, grammatical rules, and expressing yourself through writing can frustrate students at any age, and so I work to break these concepts down and make them easier for students to understand and excel at.
