About Irina

My name is Irina. I am providing private classes in painting and drawing to students of all ages and with any levels of experience. I love to empower and encourage students by emphasizing their strengths and improving their weaknesses. I help my students find their own unique artistic voice, grow their painting and drawings skills, and gain confidence in themselves.

I can help you or your student in acrylic and watercolor painting, drawing in variety of different mediums such as, charcoal, pastel, pencil, ink, ballpoint pen, etc. , mixed media, collage, sculpture, portraiture, still life and landscape drawing and painting.

Also, if you or a family member would like help completing school projects, I am offering private tutoring on projects in any subject that require artistic skills. In addition, I am offering individualized help to students in Advanced Placement (AP) and/or International Baccalaureate (IB) art classes, as well as preparation of portfolios for universities and graduate school applications.

I was trained in traditional painting and drawing, as well as sculpture and Art History in Arkhangelsk Art Academy “Rapsodiya” in Moscow, Russia. I graduated in 2010 with Red Diploma (Outstanding Achievements). I received my BFA degree in Fine Art with the emphasis in painting and drawing from Parsons, The New School in New York.

Currently, I am working as an independent artist, and private tutor and art mentor. Throughout self-evaluation, analysis, practice, research, and hard work, I created my own unique style of painting. As Mentor, my goal is to help my students find their own artistic voice, and to guide and assist them on this journey.
