I consider myself privileged for being able to make a living doing what I love. I have been a classroom teacher for 10+ years teaching every elementary grade (Pre School to 5th grade) and over 10 years as a Media Specialist teaching every student at the school from Pre K with special needs to 5th grade including a wide spectrum of students (special needs, tipycal or highly gifted). I create a close bond with my students and have a gift to detect what they need and find a way to meet those needs. I have been very successful using innovating strategies to help students decode and comprehend what they read as well as to understand abstract mah concepts. Due to a physical disability I can not work in a typical classroom but I don’t want my gift of teaching go to waste. I can help your child reach his/her full potential.
