I was a special education teacher for 30 years. I retired in 2013, but have continued working as a substitute teacher and more recently as a home tutor. I specialize in reading, writing, study skills, test-taking strategies and certain specific subjects. I have a lot of patience and try to make lessons fun and interesting especially with students who are struggling in the classroom environment. I'm the one in the middle in the photo.
