I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor's in Biology last May, and am headed to medical school in the fall! I have five years of tutoring experienced ranging from middle school basic sciences to upper level biology and A&P courses in college. I have spent time working with a variety of demographics, from teaching full-length remedial classes with at-risk high schoolers, to one-on-one sessions with college athletes. I have also spent a significant amount of my tutoring career helping teach student study, note-taking, and test-taking methods to take advantage of their time in and out of class. I truly love what I do--it is my passion to help take students from fearing a subject to loving it! I live for the "AHA!" moment when my student finally "gets" it. I understand that every person I tutor it unique, and so I always tailor my style to the student and frequently check in to see what we could be doing better. My goal is not just to teach you, but to increase your confidence and help you love the subject we work on together.
