I am an enthusiastic advocate for the effective use of the English language! I love helping young students improve their reading and comprehension skills, and to become adept and confident in their writing.
I currently tutor kids in pre-K through 8th grade in vocabulary, word usage, grammar, composition and comprehension for a local tutoring franchise. I also offer my services to high school students or college students, especially those for whom English may not be the primary language in their home.
I have excellent editing skills, and completed the University of California/San Diego Certification Program for Copyediting in 2017.
