It has always been a passion of mine to help others, which is why I decided return to school for a degree in teacher education. I have tutored both high school and college level students, beginning as a favor to close friends to help them achieve their goals within the classroom. Throughout my junior and senior years of high school, I served as a mentor to these students and tried to provide help beyond the classroom. As a member of a high school and college football team, my tutoring efforts have been concentrated mostly on athletes, in all subjects. I was hired by the academic support system at Fordham University to tutor fellow athletes in all subjects, due to my success in the classroom. Having studied business, specifically accounting in college, I also spent time informally tutoring peers to succeed in class. Numerous timed I found myself leading last minute study sessions in the library before exams. My specialties include math, business, test prep, science, and English/writing.
