Ciao! I was born in Italy and I am fluent in the language. On coming to theU.S., I received an Education degree in Italian. I have found great joy and satisfaction teaching Italian effectively in the public-school system and in private settings, for over 20 years. I have taught high school, middle
school and elementary school levels, as well as pre-K in a private daycare center. I truly enjoy the variety of teaching experiences this line of work offers.

I use a Natural, Communicative Approach, which builds confidence and encourages conversation. Each lesson is planned around the needs, strengths, and interests of each student.

It is important for me to motivate the student and help him or her to connect with the language. I have great love and passion for Italy, its language, and its culture. My sincere desire to teach motivates me to research and apply the most effective learning methods and pedagogy of language learning and acquisition.

It is these qualities that provide each student with the extra edge needed to be successful in mastering his/her goals with the Italian language.
