I really enjoy teaching and intend to become a professor one day. I volunteered as a tutor for three years while attending the University of California San Diego and tutored students in math, science, history, and English. My degree is in earth science but I minored in archaeology and I also have an extensive knowledge of history, astronomy, mathematics up to early calculus, and classical physics. I am also familiar with evolutionary biology, paleontology and ecology. I have a passion for learning and I desire to impart this passion for learning onto my students. As a result I try to teach my students in a way that excites them and makes what they are learning relevant to them personally
