Qualifications & Experience

I was once an ESL student myself so I understand how difficult it can be when English is not our first language. I am patient, open, and am willing to teach. I am fluent in English and Chinese. I have 6 years of experiences in working with kids and teens.

I have facilitated a two-year program to high school students that contained the majority as ESL.

I scored 23/24 in SAT Essay. I have been giving private lesson in Academic Writing to middle school student for 2 years. I was also a peer mentor for 2 years.

I have been giving private lesson in Math for 2 years. I was also a peer mentor for 2 years. I love Math and am passionate about teaching it. I excelled in every single math courses, from pre-algebra to Calculus III.

I was my class valedictorian, with the highest GPA and academic performance recognition out of 300 people.I am responsible, positive, intelligent, and hard-working. I have 4 years of experiences in working with youths and children. All of the supervisors and students I have worked with gave me very positive feedback and reviews. I had been a private tutor for 6 years old previously for 2 years before that person moved his house. As a result, I am a good tutor for your kid since I have very similar experiences of teaching.

I was born and raised in China, Canton. I am a native Chinese speaker who have been in China for 12+ years. I am fluent in Chinese and English. I love Chinese literature and culture. I have passed all Chinese assessments (AP Chinese Language and Culture with a "5", school language exam, etc). I have also taken rigorous upper college level course in the United States to further my bilingual studies. I have excelled with "A's". I am very responsible, open, and creative. I am willing to teach and get to know every student.
