Hi everyone! Ever since college, I have always relished and appreciated the opportunity to help in the education of others. In my career as a physician, I enjoyed teaching my patients about their conditions and treatments. I believe two of my strengths are my high level of patience and good listening skills.
Different individuals learn in different ways, and I have used that conventional wisdom to structure my tutoring sessions, tailoring to a person's specific needs. Each lesson will be generally informal in atmosphere, with the flow of the session based on your requests and goals. We can go through classroom topics, homework, examination problems, practice problems, review manuals, specific concepts, or a combination of these items. I strongly believe that by me answering your questions in detail and delving into the reasons for why we do things a certain way in Mathematics or Chemistry or Physics, your mastery of the subject will come in no time.
Now, some facts about me. I was the valedictorian in high school and magna cum laude in college. I have a solid Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics background by way of my college and medical school training. I have a bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering. I then went to medical school before practicing Neurology for 22+ years until changing careers two years ago. I am now working in Aerospace Engineering. And I have been tutoring Mathematics and Chemistry and Physics for two years now.
I look forward to helping you appreciate the worlds of Mathematics and Chemistry and Physics and gain those skills and obtain those pearls that you desire. In addition, I also can help you in Anatomy and Physiology. I am available on most days of the week. Hope to see you soon!
