About Jose

I tutor because I want to be able to make a difference in people's lives. As a tutor, I appreciate the opportunity to be able to reach out to more students and help them in their endeavors. My favorite subject to tutor is math. Specifically, I love tutoring algebra and statistics to high school and college students. I have been tutoring math since I was in my third year in college and I have loved it ever since. I am a graduate from UCSD and awaiting start my Masters/Credential Program in the summer of 2017.

I have tutored and taught in a variety of schools during my time as an undergraduate student working towards my Masters/Credentials at the University of California San Diego. (UCSD has a program that allows you to finish one year of your Masters in Educations degree as an undergraduate student to be able to obtain both a masters and credential in one year) The schools that I have tutored or taught are: Mira Mesa High School, Lincoln High School, San Diego High School, and Bethune Middle School.
