Hi there!
My name is Danielle:) I am a language tutor, and I am super passionate about helping people develop their language skills in a fun and creative way.
I graduated from Cal Poly SLO with a B.A in Modern Languages and Literatures, focusing on linguistics, advanced composition, pedagogy and more. I am a language nerd, so when I started tutoring language arts in college, I fell in love with it!
I know that it can be difficult to keep certain students motivated and engaged, which is why I like to incorporate creative activities in my lessons, such as teaching my students catchy songs or having them draw pictures to make associations and help with memorizing vocabulary.
I play guitar, sing and write poetry in my spare time, which helps me to channel my creative energy into my lesson plans.
