As a math and science tutor, I work with students to not only identify and address areas of difficulty, but also help the student become aware of signs that they may need to ask clarifying questions or may need to practice more problems before they have truly mastered a new concept. In this way, I help students become more self-confident and self-directed learners. I have tutored all of the physical sciences through college level and math through second year Calculus as well as test preparation.
