I am a native Spanish speaker born to a Spanish father and an English mother, in London, England. I grew up bilingual and hold a First Class Bachelor's degree in Spanish and Italian from The University of Manchester (England). I completed a Post-Graduate Certificate in Education from the Institute of Education, London. After teaching all levels of Spanish at a school in London for the past four years, I have recently relocated to Los Angeles. I have lived and traveled extensively in the Spanish-speaking-world, studying abroad in Madrid (Spain) and travelling in central and South America. I have also spent time studying abroad in Bologna (Italy) and have led various school trips to Spain.
I love teaching and understand the challenges students can face when learning languages. I adopt various different teaching styles according to students' particular learning needs. I am patient and empathetic as well as very effective when it comes to breaking down complex grammar concepts. I am strong in all levels of Spanish, from beginner to AP Spanish and beyond and aim to bring the language to life for students, believing that student engagement is the key to progress.
I am a native Spanish speaker and also hold a First Class degree in Spanish and Italian from The University of Manchester.
If you are struggling with any aspect of language- learning, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am generally available Monday-Friday from 9am to 9pm.
