In my recent role as a Middle School Art Teacher in New York City, I taught art in various forms to classes of 20 to 25 students from 6th through grade 8th.
My job specific skills included planning, preparing and conducting art lessons, maintaining discipline in the classroom, counseling students for academic problems and special needs. Moreover, I am well-versed in keeping the parents updated about the student performance and maintaining positive relationships with students and their parents alike utilizing my outstanding communication skills.
