Hey, y'all! My name is Tunmi (pronounced too-me). I am a writing, reading, architecture, and art tutor. I also have a background in high school engineering courses. I attended an engineering high school, which led me to pursue a degree in Architecture!
A little bit about me, I was born and raised in the Bay Area, a place that lent me it's love for social justice, and recently relocated to Los Angeles. African/African American studies, art theory, art history, writing, and reading are passions! I write a variety of creative pieces on a daily basis and I'm always listening to an audiobook or reading a hard copy.
I hope to connect with students who share any of my passions. With me as your tutor, I'll start off by assessing your curriculum, gauging your understanding of the material, form a plan to get you up to speed based on your learning style, and help you hone in on the specific tools you'll need to pass your classes. *Bonus* I supplement your curriculum with my knowledge of the general K-12 learning standards of Massachusetts, which I know very well because I regularly reference their learning standards to brush up on my writing fundamentals.
I believe young people have a voice and can change the world by getting a good, well-rounded education. My goal is to assist you in your learning journey in any way I can. Please feel free to message me with any questions. I hope we will be afforded the opportunity to meet each other and get to work on these books!
