I began tutoring when I was just in middle school, taking weekly trips to local elementary schools in Albuquerque, New Mexico to help first and second grade students learn how to read. Since then, I have tutored and taught in various capacities, including tutoring academic writing at the collegiate level for Haverford College’s Writing Center in Philadelphia. Most recently, I have completed five years working as a public school teacher in Los Angeles, simultaneously earning an M.Ed from UCLA and a Clear Credential in English and General Science from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
