Hi! My name is Rachel and I recently graduated from Tulane University. I studied neuroscience and public health, and finished summa cum laude. I have been tutoring for over 4 years, and have experience working with students ranging from elementary to college level. My subjects include elementary math, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, biology of all levels, and chemistry of all levels. I have been very successful with all of my students, and have helped them raise their grades in class by at least 2 letter grades and achieve A’s on their exams.
I have a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their academic goals, and love seeing students feel more confident in their skills after receiving one-on-one help. I am very patient and customize my approach towards each student to maximize the meaning they get out of my help, and am very receptive to any feedback. Outside of tutoring, I love traveling, hiking, and baking, and am planning on attending medical school in the future.
