Hello students, my name is Matthew Manning, I have an Associates of Science degree in Engineering Technology, and an Engineering Drafting Certification from Allan Hancock College. I have been using AutoCAD for 10+ years, starting as a freshman in high school. I am also familiar with 3D Modeling software's, such as Solidworks and Creo. I have touched a few CAM software's as well, such as MasterCAM and GibbsCAM, but AutoCAD is where I have the most knowledge. Mainly because I use it everyday. I have been working in the aerospace industry as a drafter for 5 years now. What I will be teaching you is not what they will be teaching you in the classroom, but what you will need to succeed in the workforce. You need drafting standards knowledge, and know how to work swiftly and efficiently to meet the customers deadlines on time.
