I am a current chemistry student at UCI, with two Associate's degrees obtained from Santa Monica college where I began tutoring for over 5 years ago. I worked for SMC's Learning Resource Center and STEM department tutoring in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, and Math, which introduced to me to students who recommended me to work at the Learning Disabilities Center, where I gained an appreciation for catering my tutoring style to the needs of my students and their unique capabilities in a given subject. My personal philosophy is that mastering a competency in a subject is simply a matter of time and practice, and that no one is beyond help. I work my hardest to ensure that my students understand their subjects and grow an appreciation for their given material; it is my duty to ensure that each session ends with a deeper understanding of how a course relates to its importance to life and society.
