About Lyford

I grew up enjoying school, family activities, friends, music and athletics.
My parents were both college graduates, and I knew that I also would be.
I have completed 2 Bachelor’s degrees and 1 Master’s degree. (Univ. of California, Berkeley & Cal State Univ. East Bay). I have also completed
California State Teaching Credentials for Elementary (K--9th grades), Special Education and
Resource Specialist Certificate and an Administrative Credential. These were completed at Cal State Univ. East Bay.

I particularly enjoy biological science and math. Reading is an important activity for gaining knowledge and learning new information.
I enjoy helping students who have challenges keeping up with the class. I help them
to gain self-confidence & become problem solvers.
I am patient and encouraging. I especially enjoy students in
elementary grades through 8th grade. I enjoy helping all students of all backgrounds.
I look forward to helping you to become the best student in your classes.
