As a Biochemistry graduate from UCLA, I have had the opportunity to tutor, mentor, and counsel students throughout my high school and college career. Although I customarily tutor school subjects, I also enjoy helping students reach their SAT/ACT goals as well. My experiences with students have taught me to tailor my teaching style to their learning style (i.e kinesthetic, spatial, auditory, etc.) Most importantly, I seek to establish trust with a student to ensure they feel comfortable while learning. However, when I'm not teaching, you can find me backpacking, gardening, or seeking out new recipes to try in the kitchen :D
