Qualifications & Experience

I have a Master's in Education from National University as well as a Bachelor's from Cal State, Fullerton. I have been a junior high school and high school teacher for over 5 years with experience in both Special Education and General Education classrooms.

My area of speciality is college preparatory/high school English. I have been both an after-school and in-home tutor for secondary level students, as well with elementary level students. I have a strong philosophy that each child has their own ways of learning best - whether it's hand-on, visually, auditory, etc. Once I gauge that, I implement lessons and strategies that meet individual needs. Learning should be both challenging and enjoyable!
