Dear potential student and family,
I have been a classroom teacher for 3 years now. I have taught grades PreK-3, and have tutored 5th and 6th graders in Reading and Math. I believe that all students can learn and that given the right tools they can go far. In my tutoring sessions, I start with a fun, engaging introduction of the topic, I will then do some explicit teaching, and then plenty of practice problems done with the student and then some problems where they do it on their own. I cater my teaching to the child’s learning style and we take off from there!
