Question

what is bill of rights?

From the United States government.

Answer

Hi there,

The Bill of Rights is made up of the first 10 Amendments to the United States Constitution. Written by James Madison and ratified in 1791, it defines the rights of the original people of the United States in relation to their government. Through the Bill of Rights, the people were bestowed freedom of religion, speech, privacy, the right to bear arms, and due process of law. These rights were considered inalienable and naturally theirs; rather, they are inherent and nobody can remove them or contest them - neither neighbor nor government.

To simplify the answer, the Bill of Rights is the first 10 Amendments. The Amendments are our basic rights as US citizens.
